Life Transitions

A life transition is any event that occurs that notably impacts an individual. This can be expected, unexpected, chosen voluntarily or forced on you. While an anticipated life transition may be somewhat easier to cope with, they are still difficult to manage.  Change of any kind is difficult for humans. Habits and routine help us to feel safe, even if the habits and routines are not good for us.  

Some life transitions include Starting or ending college, loss of a job, starting a new job, death, birth of a child, Marriage/Divorce, moving, loss of friendships and many, many more. 

There are many things you can do to help yourself through a difficult transition such as an increase in self-care or grieving for the changes in your life. Here at Blue Kite Wellness, we are here to help you through life’s difficult times.
