Nothing changes if nothing changes. You have the power to choose the first step toward healing.

Welcome, I am Natalie Strobel, a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor with a special interest in helping clients overcome obstacles with trauma-informed choice theory. I offer empathetic understanding to walk through complex life stories and help to process the experiences in a meaningful way. I view counseling as a collaborative effort to uncover hidden strengths and apply them to the healing journey.

My focus is on empowerment and choice, highlighting the aspects of the total behavior that can be controlled and refashioned. I bring experience in addiction, anxiety, and trauma from a reality-based perspective that addresses the uniqueness of the individual journey. I am passionate about helping to break toxic cycles and empowering individuals to evolve into a transformed version of themselves.

I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from Governors State University, and I have experience in community-based addictions programs as well as mental health therapy for trauma, relationship struggles, and anxiety. I am currently working toward obtaining my LPC to further my credentials as a mental health counselor. I work with individuals, couples, teens, seniors, and the LGBTQIA community to create positive change.

My intention with every client is to create a warm, secure environment to address well-being as a whole, mentally, physically, and spiritually. We can work together to shed light on your current struggles and create a tailored path to a transformed version of you, beyond trauma and addiction. I invite you to take the first step in your path to recovery.
