Gaming and Geek Culture

Are you a gamer? Do you consider yourself a geek? Do you love all things nerdy like superheroes, comics, gaming (video and tabletop) etc. Have you tried therapy in the past and felt judged for your hobbies and passions? Have you been apprehensive to start therapy for fear of being judged about your hobbies and passions?  

Therapy is a collaborative effort between the provider and the client, but when you feel like you can’t talk about the things you love because of a fear of judgment the relationship will be less productive. Working with a therapist that is a self-identified gamer and geek you will not be judged; in fact, we can use games and geek culture as a therapeutic tool to help you heal!
