About Blue Kite Wellness
Getting help shouldn't be this hard
Long waitlists. Offices across town. Insurance nobody seems to take. For a lot of families on the South Side, finding a therapist has meant hitting wall after wall. We opened our Chicago clinic to change that.
Whether it’s you, your teen or your whole family that’s struggling, you don’t need the right words or a crisis to start. You just need a first conversation. Our Chicago therapists see clients in person at our office at 2024 W 79th St and by telehealth.

What we help with
Our therapists use proven approaches like CBT, DBT and play therapy for younger kids, and they build the plan around your life, not the other way around.
Anxiety and stress
Constant worry, trouble sleeping, feeling on edge all the time. We help you find what's driving it and practice ways to calm it that work in your everyday life.
Depression
Feeling flat, stuck or exhausted no matter how much you rest. We meet you where you are and help you take small, real steps forward.
Trauma and PTSD
Loss, violence or other painful experiences can stay with you long after they're over. Our trauma-informed therapists go at your pace, and you decide what to share and when.
Kids, teens and families
Trouble at school, anger, shutting down, big changes at home. We work with kids and parents together, and kids under 21 with Medicaid may qualify for in-home support through Pathways to Success.
Men's mental health
Stress, anger, relationships and the pressure to hold it all together. A place to talk it through without judgment.
Grief, loss and life changes
Losing someone, a move, a breakup, a new baby, a job change. Change hits hard, and support helps you find your footing again.

What it's like to work with us
We take the time to match you with a therapist who fits, and we check your insurance before your first visit so you know what to expect. Your therapist works with you on what matters most in your life right now, and if something isn’t working, we change the plan.
Need help beyond therapy? Our case management team can connect your family with resources and help with paperwork, and with your permission we can coordinate with your child’s school and other providers.
Three ways to meet your therapist
Choose what makes it easiest to keep showing up. A Spanish-speaking therapist is also available.
